…to have a public blog. Well, mostly public… sort of… maybe… we’ll see. I’ve had this domain – amongst others – for a few years now and haven’t really done much with it since I removed all content, back in 2006. It’s time to revive its usage.

There are many people who are interested in the goings-on of my life; or so I’m told. Rather than hole up exclusively on LiveJournal, expose myself to the dramatastic B.S. over at MySpace, or indulge in the cliquish behaviors of Facebook, I will create my own niche in the world of the big bad blogosphere. And why not? I’m awesome enough. My ego can handle it (oh boy, can it ever). And I certain have enough inane asshattery to add to the fold – as much as any other idiot on the internet, anyway.

Don’t expect secrets, deep thoughts, or any major details related to my job – those are all pretty much off-limits to the general public. However, you can expect a barrage of political nonsense, pop-culture trashtalking, travel stories, baking mishaps & triumphs, a variety of pictures, random rants, and the occasional swooning over my husband or fawning over our cats.

A forewarning: I do curse, so if you morally object to and/or can’t handle that… fuck off. Your kind is not welcome ’round these parts. This is my site. I pay for it, I write on it, and nobody is forcing or asking you to read it.
